Climbing Conditions

Austin Goodine and I went out to check conditions in the area and as everyone can imagine we found things to be very dry with limited snow patches lingering above 3000m. Access to the Ramp Route and Silverhorn is getting technical, we stuck the bare ice on climbers left. The bergschrunds still look passable but we kept to the alpine ice to the right of the nunatuk and managed to get through the broken terrain above and eventually onto the N. Ridge of Athabasca to have a look at the Boundary Glacier from above. The photos say it all really, hopefully things start to cool back down soon.
