Close call with Rockfall at Back of Lake today. The area below Wicked Gravity/Colloidal Impact and above Chocolate Bunnies/Standing Ovation belay stances has some very precarious perched and substantial sized loose rock.

Luckily the parties belaying above us gave a good warning when a few began to fall toward us and we got out of harms way.

As the picture reveals the potential for continued rock fall in the area is high. And it could also affect the crowded tourist trail below.

I will inform Parks and maybe a Trail crew can get up there. Heads up if you are climbing in that area.
