Ski Conditions

Three of us tour up to Pulpit 1 on Dec15th.
Hector lake crossing was no issues.
New snow fell on the 14th accumulated average 15cm with calm wind which overlies either thin MFcr on steep sunny slope or recent storm snow. New snow seems to bond well, not respond to skier traffic.

On our way up good amount of sun hit the E-S slope, new and recent storm snow settled quick and suspect create new MFcr layer on the surface of steep enough slope.

Quick dig @ 2250m NW HS90cm, CTM11 SC dwn90cm on DH sz1-2, repeated twice.

Still early season hazard exist in the bouldery area and lower down in the forest.
