Climbing Conditions

Drove to (and back from) the Adirondacks today, and it seems like most of the ice is succumbing to the recent heat and rain. Most of the Chapel Pond ice is either melting or getting there (though Chouinard’s and Crystal Ice Tower are still in). The ice at Cascade Lake looks better, but with some wind affect forming hollows and overhangs.

There’s not much season left out here!
