Avalanche Conditions

Effective immediately, Avalanche Canada and Glacier National Park have issued a Special Public Avalanche Warning for recreational backcountry users. The warning applies to the Cariboos, North/South Columbia, Glacier National Park, Purcells, Kootenay-Boundary, Lizard/Flathead, and South Rockies Regions. Expiry date is end of the day Monday, January 15 but we'll be reviewing conditions over the weekend to determine whether the warning should be extended. You can view the warning here:
