Avalanche Conditions

Nov 25 we ski toured up to Balu pass. Snowing 1-2 cm an hour and winds were blowing 30-40km an hour. Snow was varied in depth from 10cm-70cm on the Nov13 rain crust. There was no cracking around skis but any steeper terrain was suspect, especially wind loaded features. Getting to Balu was scary enough. 1 skier accidental size 1 and a Na avalanche size 2+ were observed. Heads up out there!
