Ski Conditions

Hello Everyone,

Spent the day up Connaught creek, Approx. up to 40cm of storm snow with very little to no wind effect. No slab avalanches observed but wide spread natural sloughing from steep slopes off of alpine ridges.

I dug a couple of hand shears with no notable shear present due to the lack of a surface slab, what was concerning is the well settled mid pack now over lying the Nov crust which is easily probed;) and variable in depth. That is a PWL which may produce larger avalanches down the road.

Over all excellent ski quality with shin to deep ski pen, take care and cu in the hills!
