Climbing Conditions

Hi all,

Bob Sawyer & I guided simultaneous ascents of Solar System and Life on Earth on the South face of Mount Habrich yesterday Aug 4th. We had slightly cooler temperatures, scattered clouds and calm winds.

Both routes are in great conditions & dry however, there is a missing hanger/nut on the last bolt of the 3rd pitch on Life on Earth. It would be a good thing to bring one up if anyone is heading there. The Escape Velocity rappel descent was also in great shape. There is still a descent trickle of water on the approach gully. Many folks climbing Sky Pilot yesterday, conditions are looking good there as well.

Peak summer conditions are in full swing on the South Coast, enjoy!
