Trail Conditions

All-in-All a great day...

Opal Ridge (Opal South)

Trail Conditions

A mixed bag of wx which included 60 kph wind gusts, snow, graupel and even a bit of blue sky. Top it off with a grizzly digging just below the ridge forcing us to turn around 200 m before the summit. There was another griz (Sow with cub) near the Fortress turn off, as well. Trail was in good shape as this trail is (currently) below the snow-line.
