Trail Conditions

This year, the weather up North has been very dry.

So river crossing was not to challenging. This said, we decided to start days that evolved river crossing early, groupe was up at 3am, and we started walking at around 4:30, 5am. Stopping at around 1pm when creeks and rivers where no longer confortable to cross.

No strong winds, no mosquitos, lots of sun !

A perfect trip for us!

No defined trail for the first 4 days, the trail on the moraine after Owl river, is not very clear but with good map and terrain reading skill, it is not hard to navigate.

The trail becomes more defined around Norman glacier.

No polar bears, many icebergs !
