Trail Conditions

From June 9-11th the TAP groups traversed several ridges and valleys between North Porcupine Creek and Wasootch Ridge. Careful route finding reduced exposure on ridge top features. The weather was mostly sunny, with moderate winds at higher elevations. Some residual snow from last weeks storm remained, but did not impact travel. Water in the North and South Porcupine creeks was found on top of exposed bedrock. Ticks were present but not prevalent, and no other wildlife hazards were encountered.
